Annual Fund
Make your 100% tax-deductible donation by clicking on our PayPal button below. All donations will be matched 1-for-3 by the Schulz Challenge Grant.

Stock Gifts
Consider donating stock that has appreciated for more than 12 months to the Cartoon Art Museum. You won't have to pay taxes on the capital gains and you can deduct the total market value from your income tax! Please call 415-227-8666 and ask for Rod to learn how easy it is to transfer stocks to the Cartoon Art Museum.

Art Donations
The Cartoon Art Museum was founded in 1984 by a group of collectors and enthusiasts who each contributed artwork to start the Museum. Relying totally on donations, the Museum has expanded its collection over the past 16 years to over 5000 pieces of original art and cartoon collectibles. By donating original art to the Museum's permanent collection, you can rest assured that it will be properly cared for and preserved. Also, it will be available for exhibition and scholarly research. Contact the museum for questions about donating artwork or cartoon collectibles to the Museum's permanent collection. But first check out the Art Donation Guidelines on our FAQs page.

Library Donations
By donating cartoon related books, magazines, and reference material, you can contribute to the collection of the Cartoon Art Museum's Research Library. The library is frequented by many different people, from middle school students to university professors. Contribute to an educational resource!

Gifts-in-Kind
We gladly accept items or services that we can use in the office, for events, or in our bookstore. The fair market value is tax deductible. Here are some examples of items we need:

For the office:
Office supplies, equipment, and computer hardware & software.
Printing services for brochures, postcards, and other projects.

For events:
Event planning services
Entertainment services
Food and beverages

For the bookstore:
New cartoon related books and merchandise

Volunteer!!!
Volunteers make essential contributions to the Cartoon Art Museum. Their time and effort make it possible for the Museum to present an ambitious program of exhibitions and activities to our community, and help to create materials and services that would not otherwise exist. Their generous contributions are a constant source of much-needed assistance to all CAM activities, from daily operations to exciting special events. In appreciation of valued service, active CAM volunteers are eligible to receive benefits similar to those of members. Join our team!
