The Cartoon Art Museum welcomes Steve Greenberg, editorial cartoonist for publications including Ventura County Reporter and the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles, on Sunday, June 2, 2019, from 2pm to 4pm.
Greenberg will be doing a presentation about his work starting at 2pm in the Museum’s Drawing Room. At 3pm he will sign books and be available for questions and conversation. He will also have some of his own books available for purchase.
About Steve Greenberg
Steve Greenberg is an editorial cartoonist and artist in Southern California, drawing for the alternative-weekly Ventura County Reporter, The Argonaut of West L.A., the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles and other publications. He contributes online to the Cartoon Movement out of The Netherlands, is an award-winning informational graphics artist and draws a monthly comic strip, Boomerish, which is self-syndicated nationally for the 50-plus crowd.
Steve was previously a staff artist with San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal, Seattle Post-Intelligencer and other newspapers, and regularly contributed cartoons to the Sacramento Bee from 2012–14. His editorial cartoons have won awards nearly every year of his four-decade career.
