Workshops & Classes

DESIGN YOUR OWN CLASS

The Cartoon Art Museum offers customized workshops to institutions and to the public. Cartooning workshops and a self-guided or docent-led group visit to the museum can be folded into your teaching curriculum, programming, team building, or after-school programs through creative hands-on activities and their career applications.

Workshops are arranged to fit into your schedule, cartooning topic of choice, and skill level. You can schedule a single session or a series of workshops using the form below. The Cartoon Art Museum can also work with your school, library, business or child-care facility to bring a cartooning instructor to your location.

To request a workshop, use the form below, call 415-CARTOON, or email education@cartoonart.org.

The Cartoon Art Museum’s mission is to ignite imaginations and foster the next generation of visual storytellers by celebrating the history of cartoon art, its role in society and its universal appeal. Exposing cartoon art’s usefulness in education is a part of keeping the form thriving for successive generations so that it can continue to contribute to society as a means of effective communication. The Legion of Educators will be the embodiment of this goal.
