Workshops & Classes
DESIGN YOUR OWN CLASS
The Cartoon Art Museum offers customized workshops to institutions and to the public. Cartooning workshops and a self-guided or docent-led group visit to the museum can be folded into your teaching curriculum, programming, team building, or after-school programs through creative hands-on activities and their career applications.
Workshops are arranged to fit into your schedule, cartooning topic of choice, and skill level. You can schedule a single session or a series of workshops using the form below.
The Cartoon Art Museum can also work with your school, library, business or child-care facility to bring a cartooning instructor to your location.
To request a workshop, use the form below, call 415-CARTOON, or email email@example.com.
Your desired date must be requested two or more weeks ahead.
Museum visits or workshops can be requested for any day 11am–5pm.
A standard workshop is 2 hours and serves up to 20 students.
Additional time or larger groups of students may be accommodated for additional fees.
Workshops with 5 or more students under 18 require 1 chaperone for up to every 10 students.
All classes take place at the museum’s educational space at 781 Beach Street or a partnered location unless otherwise requested. Classes requested off-site must take place at a public space or business location and cannot take place at private residences.
